I have an idea

As a long-time Delphi developer, working in development teams and as a stand-alone contractor, I’ve seen a lot of legacy Delphi code. And met a lot of Delphi developers maintaining that code. And that are responsible for the state that code is in. For it is often the case, that the same developers have worked on that very same code for a very long time. I think that is a property of the Delphi universe.

Don’t get me wrong. Delphi developers too move around. But perhaps not as much as developers of other tech stacks. Perhaps it’s because Delphi developers often are rather content with what Delphi brings. There’s no need for using other tech stacks (although we often do, of course, as a result of customer demands) since you can do almost anything with Delphi that you can do with other languages.
